Tasked with steering MobileFuse’s technology development, Israel’s involvement with the Internet predates the World-Wide Web. In 1997, Israel developed a web-based database-backed media-asset management product and co-founded iMarc LLC to market the product, which was bought by Starwoods Hotels and is still in use today, managing hundreds of thousands of high-resolution marketing images for high-end hotel properties worldwide. In 2000, Israel founded Isaka Studio to help corporations develop and implement effective online strategies leveraging emerging technologies. This experience served him well during his stint as technical editor and features writer for Publish magazine. Since 2006, Israel has worked with several startup companies, directing their technology efforts while bringing into play his broad-based skills in web application development, systems management, and interface design.
