Systems Engineer

MobileFuse is seeking a smart, hard-working Systems Engineer to join our talented Engineering team in the ad tech industry. We are seeking candidates in the Boston area. We are interested in all levels of experience and willing to meet the needs for the right candidate. Please note: we are not interested in remote workers, relocating applicants, or sponsoring visas at this time.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain existing applications
  • Improve existing applications (eg. how can we improve response times, maximize CPU utilization to lower costs, or streamline processes?)
  • Automate processes and assist other teams with projects
  • Set up and configure new applications and features
  • Assist with release cycle and environment setup and configuration
  • Fix issues as they arise
  • Maintain regular communication with Engineering and other teams

Requirements:

  • Experience with AWS services (EC2, ALB, Auto Scaling, Route 53, RDS, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, S3, Athena, EMR, ECS)
  • Experience configuring linux servers and applications (php, php-fpm, nginx, git, composer)
  • Experience with docker
  • Ad tech experience is a big plus
  • Familiarity with programming and related skills (HTML, CSS, PHP, Bash, Javascript)

Compensation:

  • DOE. Base salary and Commission
